
KMCW brings together national and international stakeholders from science, industry and politics to tackle one of the most pressing challenges of our time: dumped munitions in the North and Baltic Seas.
A special focus in 2025 will be the confirmed participation of a high-ranking delegation from Ukraine. The delegation will report on the challenges posed by explosive remnants of war in Ukrainian rivers and coastal waters, sharing an official situation report and field updates from the conflict zone.
At our stand, we will be showcasing TrueOcean – our ocean data platform that is revolutionising the management of marine data. In live demos, we’ll demonstrate how TrueOcean supports the provision, visualisation and efficient handling of oceanographic data – for example in the offshore wind sector.
Another highlight: our Processing as a Service solution. It allows for fast, precise and cost-efficient data analysis without requiring full platform integration – perfect for those who need quick results without compromising on proven technology.
In addition, we’ll be giving visitors a look at Smart Historical Document Scanning – an innovative project that uses cutting-edge AI technologies to automatically extract and connect information from historical documents, unlocking new spatial, temporal and thematic insights from archival sources.
For us, taking part in Kiel Munition Clearance Week is much more than a trade fair appearance. It’s an opportunity to connect with leading experts, discuss current developments and work together towards a safe, digital and sustainable future for our oceans.
